
Ky-mani , who is close to completing his third album untitled, is definitely a star. On the 26th of February in 1976 Ky-mani was born to famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. Ky-mani comes from an East African term meaning adventurous traveler, and as an individual living up to his name Each album or tour can be described as an adventure. His journey into music started in 1999 when he released The Journey. His diverse vision enabled Ky-Mani to seek out his unique style and develop his various talents. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) A "traditional" reggae record was made available, showing a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as and The Journey, were well received around the world and established Ky-mani's status as an the independent "artist". Ky-Mani mixes roots reggae with hip-hop R&B as well as contemporary jazz, to make his own sound.
