Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able to direct, act production, create plays as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is from Britain, while her mother is the "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's early memories include attending play rehearsals as well as watching her mother's her job. In her early years Anna appeared in a number of commercials on television. Then, in November 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually shifting in Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009. Anna was a convert to Judaism in the year before and Seth Cooperman got married in December 2010 in Fredericton. In April 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows by having a Jewish ceremony. Bo's sex-based romance with Lauren was highlighted in the top television Couples ever, and was named the top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. The success of the show has led to Anna building a large audience on social networks.
