Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She became a TV host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. She was born in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has an extremely troubled family. She spent the majority of her childhood caring for Frankie. Frankie suffered from polio. In her early years, she had a relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl claims that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father due to him getting too close to her. When she graduated from college Sheryl joined the military. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She was the first female winner of the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She started her TV career as a frequent performer at the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. The show was on Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. In the past, she has been host on The Talk since 2011. She has played in fictional show such as Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
