Taylor
Taylor Swift, the rarest pop star, is a superstar who managed to move from the country genre to mainstream pop culture and become an idol of the pop world. Swift also swept worldwide during the course of her journey. Swift left behind the country roots she was raised with like it's a second instinct and demonstrated that she's the greatest pop-singer/songwriter her generation. Swift could make the experience personal, while also recording the atmosphere. The skills she displayed were apparent on her early hits including the neo-tribute Tim McGraw but her second album of 2008's Fearless showed a writer discovering the person she really was, and in the process finding the mass market. Fearless ended up being a big hit not only within the U.S., with six platinum-certified singles due to Top Ten songs Love Story and the hit song You Belong with Me. It also enjoyed success in international regions such as Canada, the U.K. Canada & Australia. Swift managed to build upon her achievements with Speak Now almost two year following. In the following three years, her popularity grew through the years -the albums - Red (2012), Reputation (2014) and 1989 (2014-2015) -- as she moved into a realm of pop, where her abilities were well-established. When she did scale back her style with the 2020's stripped-down siblings' folklore and Evermore she was still atop the world of pop, a position that she maintained through re-recordings of her back catalog along with Midnights her chart-topping synth-heavy 2022 collection.
